You have known your sibling for all or most of your life, and you can sympathize with his/her struggles and upbringing. Research from the American Psychiatric Society states that childhood and a dysfunctional family environment is a leading factor in drug and alcohol addiction. Helping your brother or sister find a path to recovery is one of the most important things you can do for your family.
At Clarity Way, our focus is always on your sibling as an individual. We know the courage and strength it takes to start and continue the recovery process, and our treatment program is designed to channel that strength into a lifelong commitment to sobriety.
Our facility, set among 15 acres in the rolling hills of south central Pennsylvania, allows clients to open up and examine the underlying causes and triggers of their addiction. Our caring, empathetic staff includes a team of seven therapists, a psychiatrist, trained clinicians, and 24-hour nursing care. Our treatment programs include both group activities and a minimum of 10-15 individualized sessions per week. These sessions include drug and alcohol counseling, as well as Art Therapy, Music Therapy, and other non-traditional modalities.
The average stay at our facility ranges from 30 to 60 days. We respond to each client’s priorities to develop a plan for treatment that will address your sibling’s recovery needs. For this reason, there is no set timeline for our inpatient program.
Your sibling will require strong support throughout the recovery process. Clarity Way is proud to work with the family of clients to promote success and sobriety. Your sibling will be encouraged to stay in contact with you throughout treatment. Family members can also receive regular progress updates from our staff. Later in treatment, you may be invited to participate in family therapy sessions, if necessary.
Our treatment programming offers a range of options for your sibling’s aftercare that include follow-up communication, sessions with an outpatient counselor, addiction counselor, family counselor and more. When a client finishes inpatient treatment, our treatment team will work with our dedicated aftercare therapist to develop a support system that helps your sibling maintain sobriety for the rest of his or life. Every Clarity Way client is guaranteed a minimum one year of outpatient support. We also hold yearly meet-ups with other graduates of the program to promote continued support with other individuals who have also been there.
If your sibling is suffering from a drug or alcohol addiction, take the first steps to sobriety by contacting Clarity Way today at 1-877-628-1489. Our intake coordinator can discuss the best way to get your sibling into treatment, and, if necessary, recommending the services of a trained interventionist in your area.
“I was worried when I went to treatment - worried about what my room would be like, whether the food would be good and whether the pool would be clean. Once I got to treatment, I realized that “my worries” were ways of avoiding the things I actually needed to deal with. The treatment team helped me to understand and start addressing this and I began focusing on all the right things, the things I had ...”
